I would not hold your breath for Devany's book...however there are quite a
number of good sources for functional strength which I think are pretty
good.  One of my favorites, Pavel Tsatsouline at www.dragondoor.com has the
books Power to the People, and The Russian kettle bell challenge.  Some
great free stuff can be found on the web: John Askeems' site
http://www.olympus.net/personal/cablebar/QUALITY3.htm
is fantastic for olympic lifting as is www.danjohn.org (go to the lifting
and throwing page) Dan has an interesting experiment cycling volume and
carbohydrate consumption.  www.cbass.com is great so long as you ignore his
diet advice.  if you need more let me know!
