I've been experimenting with Rob Faigan's NHE program. It is basically a
cyclical low-carb diet. However, I am having my doubts about it. He has
high carb days every 3 or 4 days. In hunter-gatherer eating patterns, it
would have been cyclical low-carb, but by seasons, I'm guessing. The
winter and spring would be low-carb the whole way through, while summer and
fall would have higher carbs (when fruit is in season).

So I'm not sure if cycling carbs every few days is a wise strategy. Anyone
have other thoughts on this?
