A few days ago I posted a response to an earlier message which had the
term "power law distribution" in its title.  I really should have found out
before posting what the meaning of "power law distribution" is in the
evolutionary fitness sense.  I checked on the WWW, but found all references
confined to mathematics and engineering.  (Fortunately, I don't think my
lack of knowledge would have changed what I wrote.)

Could someone post a summary of its application to evolutionary fitness or
point me to an informative WWW site or book?
