A good friend of mine is an elite, front line exercise physiologist. A great
guy, world master discus thrower, he knows science and the real world.
Although an academic whoes texts are standard in under and post graduate
work, he writes for a bodybuilding magazine, Muscular Development. I know,
it seems a muscle mag is the last place you would find cutting edge science.
But...this mag is like a mini-Ph.D. oftentimes with research summaries that
are excellent. I am deeply involved in sports science studies, yet I am
others like me actually read this and get insights every issue. I have no
ties with this mag. I recommend it because it is the best single source of
real world exercise physiology with a bent towards muscle performance around,
including science journals like ACMS's, and others. Yes-a muscle mag!
