Subject: Weight lifting progress

Looking for a little advice on my strenth progress. I'm a 43 year old
male who has been weight lifting off and on for about ten years, but
never very consistently until getting my own weight set a year ago.
Since then, my bench press has gone from ten reps at 125 to ten reps at
145, and squat from 185 to 245. Does that seem like meager progress for
11 months? I try to work out intensely and only do one or two sets per
muscle group, and usually do the whole body in a one hour session or so.
I try to do this every four or five days, but it often or occasionally
stretches to a week or a little more.

Thanks for any advice,
Hilary McClure

ps How's DeVany's book coming along? Anyone know?
