Tom covers grains. If you were referrring to the green grass leaves, then I would add that other
animals with a similar gut to that of Homo sapiens - and here I'm thinking of the dog - don't eat a
lot of grass, even when it is fresh and abundant. In fact grass is more frequently eaten as a
medicine than as a food. Generally, people who prefer paleo foods also prefer them with a
minimum of processing: refrigetation and simple cooking is about the limit of it. Most would
regard juicing as un-paleo, not only because there were no juicers in the Paleolithic, but also
because separating the fluid from the fibre in such an extreme and effective way is significantly
unbalacing the food.
