Here is the verse, again.

Proverbs 27:6 Faithful [are] the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an
enemy [are] deceitful.

Sometimes, a friend will wound or hurt us in trying to help us. It isn't
nice and it doesn't feel good but in the end, what the friend does or says,
helps us. An enemy will kiss us, or be nice, to gain something. What the
enemy does or says to us feels good, but the enemy is deceitful in that he
doesn't want to help us but rather, help himself.
