Subject: Please Pray! We got sad news!
Hi Echurch Family,
I'm writing to let you know that this morning, we received a phone call from
a cousin of Vernon's, Terri, Betty Joyce and Lester Wienk's daughter. on
Tuesday, Vernon's cousin, whom we are very close to, Betty Joyce Wienk was
rushed to Brookings Hospital, via ambulance, where she was later on, that
night, rushed to Sioux Falls. On Wednesday they did a CT scan, as her
kidneys were shutting down. In the stent which they had placed in her
stomach where the Annurism was, last summer, they found a clot.
She passed away last night in the Sioux Falls Avera McKennon Hospital with
her family at her side.
We received the phone call this morning from her daughter, Terri.
Vernon and I will attend the funeral. I gave Terri my email address, and she
said she would let us know via phone or email about the funeral, as soon as
she has a time and date.
Betty's husband, Lester Wienk, is taking this quite hard.
Please pray for the family.
