Well, the excavator man had to leave early last night to coach his
daughter's softball team.  What luck.  He left his equipment behind!
Last night, Chris and Caleb had a glorious time playing king of the hill
and then, they climbed up into the excavator to have a look around.
We're talking space age technology here.  Of course, Greg got out the
digital camera to get pictures from every angle to email to the relatives
, including a picture of Caleb sitting in the bucket.  I climbed to the
top of the highest pile.  What fun.  I then layed on my stomach next to
the hole and Chris went down to the bottom.  Chris is 5-11 and the hole
is deeper than his head.  Wow, am I going to be doing laundry for a while
to get all the dirt out.  Now, we just have one small  problem.  Caleb is
having so much fun that he doesn't want the house to come because that
will mean that  the dirt piles will go away.  Today, the excavator will
finish.  then, we have to try to get Caleb excited about the cement
mixer.
Hopefully, that will come on Monday, but, we'll just have to wait,
hopefully not too long, and see.
