Sandy,
I know that if I had not lost my sight I would never have been to have the
education I got. Also, I would probably have been a rebel, a drunk, a speed
demond teen ager and who knows what else. When I think of all the
experiences of life that I have had, I thank God that because of my
blindness He has blessed me greatly. Also, God has used me as a blessing to
others many times because of my blindness. People are amazed that, though I
am blind, I am able to function in a normal life situation. What an
experience when I fought for custody of my son during the divorce years ago.
It turned out that it was not a question of my ability to care for my son
but my ability to do it because I was blind. God gave me many opportunities
to witness in that situation, to my lawyer, the judge, the other lawyer, the
psychologist, the mobility trainers who evaluated my mobility and many
others. If I glorify God in my blindness then praise the Lord for it.

Ned
