Phil, Lelia and Pat,

Pardon me for butting in but as I just read Phil's post here, these
thoughts occurred to me.

It seems to me that ministry is what God chooses us for, and enables us to
carry out for Him.

But our purpose in life could be something we have chosen ourselves. For
example, I chose to marry and have a family. Some folks choose a certain
career to follow. And these examples, and others, seem to me become the
purpose for our life in this world.

The two, ministry and purpose, however, need not be in conflict with one
another. We just need to remember, in whatever we do, that we do all to
the glory of God.

What think y'all?? Smile.

Helen
