What you say is definitely true. I used to talk with my Mom every day. I
would talk with my sister at least once a week and more frequently when she
got sick. Now they're both gone and there's still such an emptiness there.
After my sister died, I would find myself picking up the phone to call her
and then remember she wasn't there. My nephew lives in her house and has the
same phone number. I don't call him that often but, when I do, it's still
very strange.
