Hello, Dear Family and Friends,

We truly had a beautiful, but warm, day for everything. There was no cake
left for us to freeze for next year, so we'll just get a fresh one and
celebrate that way. I think everybody enjoyed their food. We definitely
want to thank all who came andjoined us and ate and sang and laughed, and in
some cases, cried with us. Mark is a good preacher and he did a great job.
All who wanted to do something got to. For something quite unrehearsed, it
was great.

Last night we thought we were going to be spending the night at Shelley's.
The taxi didn't come till much later than expected. The driver said that
the cops stopped him and said somebody had just abandoned a stolen car in
the neighborhood and did somebody really call a taxi out here at the time of
night? He said, "Yes, and I don't think these folks would have stolen the
car. They're blind." LOL.

We gave the bridal bouquet to Linda Pennington and told her she was next.
The folks at Cap City Diner were extremely gracious about how they handled
everything. A lady from work made my vail and table favors and brought the
guest book. Sam brought his keyboard and speakers and entertained us. We
all sang the good old songs and a friend of mine said she hadn't ever been
to a reception where they sang the good old hymns like that and thoroughly
enjoyed herself.

Shelley and Rhonda sang the most beautiful song I've heard in a very, very
long time. My roommate from college came and her husband gave me away.
Sharon Bazzle gave us our rings, and Chrissie and Sam stood up with us.
Shelley and Chrissie witnessed the license and of course Mark led us through
the ceremony. At one part, I thought Dave was going to say, "For richer or
purple." LOL.

Cathy Linscott and Troy Sullivan and Mike and Cindy Gamble and Dottie M and
her daughter Christina were there from work. Altogether there were about 30
people there and I was totally in awe.

We allpicked from the menu and had a wonderful meal.

Sorry to ramble so much, but it was a great, wonderful, day.*Smile*
