Wow Vicki,
Actually, I'm not sure what just poured cement smells like, exactly.  We
had three cement trucks parked in our driveway, at one point, along with
the truck to bring the workers and the truck to haul the forms.
Everything was running on deaesle and every engine was running.  Then,
they sprayed this stuff on the forms, I think to make the forms easier to
remove when the cement is dry, but it could also be a kind of weather and
water proofing.  Anyway, we were smelling   a lot like down town
Manhattan yesterday for a while there.  The construction crew seem to get
along with each other pretty well too.  One guy was a bit obnoctious, but
he wasn't there much.  It was fun just to here them enjoying their work.
