Vinny,
I regularly that the Lord will give me my sight but I remind Him that I know
He knows better than I and that I rather He have His way than me have mine.

In 1970, while ministering at Cleeveland Avenue church in Atlanta, I had a
cornea transplant. I prayed earnestly that the Lord would give me my sight.
I told Him how I thought that I could be som much more of a servant if I
could see and that I could get so much more done while not having to always
wait on someone else. I was a member of the Christian Amateur Radio
Fellowship and met with them every monring at 7AM. I had preachers and
their churches all over the United States praying with and for me. I
believed with all my heart thatn God was going to heal me. I even joined
the Word Booik Club. Well, I wsa not heal with the transplant and I have
several problems as a result. Was I disappointed? Yes. Was I depressed?
No! I had prayed that I be a better servant and if it meant to remain
blind, then so be it. I am convinced than I am better able to serve Him
because I don't have sight or God would have healed me.

Ned
