Phil, I pray Everett is making a little more progress by the time you see
this, but he must take things easily and give that foot time to knit. If he
doesn't, he will probably suffer with it later. (Again, been there, worn
the T-shirt, done it!)
Tell him he could always do those jobs that need his hands, eyes, ears, nose
and mind but not a lot else!
