It's my tendency to read books more than the Bible also. The books are so
portable and it's just so neat to be able to take them with you.

Subject: Re: Suggested BARD Christian Books

Hi Phil,
I'm afraid I'm extremely fussy about what I read in the religion section.
There is a lot of stuff from other religions other than Christianity.
Frankly, these days I have enjoyed some of the Christian fiction much more.
Try these three books by Randy Alcorn. Read in This order as it is a
series. 1, Deadline. 2, Dominion. 3. Decption. You can go to the
author section and get the db numbers for yourwself.
Also, the Joel C rosenberg books look good, though I have only read the last

Jihad.

I have been on the bard book list now for a year and a half and I notice
there is a steady decline of Christian books. Sometimes you might only get
one book in four to six weeks. mostly, the new book lists which come out
on Friday feature mysteries, romances Sci fi, etc. Oh yes, I do find myself

reading books in a number of other fields of my interests. At least in my
case, because there is so much to read, and it is so easy to download and
take it with you, I have a tendancy to read books more than the bible--but
that just my thing I'm sure.
Vinny
