Hi Phil,
speaking of friends, one of the most touching parts of your novel is when
the church came and supported the pastor and his wife.
I have seen this kind in some of our churches, and heard of others where the
people in need were overwhelmed with kindness, and material things.
Yes, it can and should happen, however, until all of us have allowed the
Lord to work in our lives to make us less self-centered, we won't see the
church being what it should.
And that chapter, Phil, was only one of a number of the places in the book
that brought tears to my eyes.
