I don't think you are being overly sensitive but yeah, sure it hurts to 
hear a kid say such. But she is just that a kid still learning 
life's  intricacies. Perhaps it ought be pointed out she is eating, 
sleeping and watching TV at your expense? I don't mean that in some 
immature way you ought get even with her, but just for the simple fact 
that she has needs and you have needs, and no one is without them in life 
and we  help each other out. That's just what we do, but it needs to be a 
equal situation or one is then taking advantage. You guys have been 
through a ton this past year and could use a break. I also think it is 
wise to look for something closer to school and perhaps other needs as 
well. Don't let her comment eat at you. When I needed help on my route 
early on, and my son needed money, he helped me until he got his money, 
then he   said something like "This job is pathetic" lol. So I hired his 
buddy to help for a bit.

that kids shouldn't go to college with their parents, and since I have
Bowers my guide dog I stick out like a sore thumb!!
I didn't want Jenna to have to come the 13 miles from where she will live 
to
pick me up only to go back to the college, it semed  foolish since Christa
and I were going to the same place.
I felt hurt, as though somehow Christa w4ere ashamed of me, instead of 
being
proud her Mom was going back to school and would be a junior in the Fall,
she doesn't want to be seen with me.  I understand that kids don't want to
be with their parents, but  do you think I'm being to sensitive?
I have decided that Ben and I will look for a h ouse closer to school.
There is a transportation service that only would help me with
transportation if I lived in Carrol County, so perhaps we can find a house
there.
