I didn't hear the official reading but here at our house, it was 4 below
zero at midnight.  It is just a little after 12:30 PM now and it is 10
degrees.  So it is cold for this time of year in Denver.  They began rolling
black outs and turning whole neighborhoods off during the night for periods
of time.  Our's was off for about 40 minutes.  Wasn't that nice of them?
Crank up the utility heating bills to about double and then turn it off.
