Hi Angel,
Yes, the bible says we are saints, a word meaning the sanctified ones.
However, we might ask the saints (christians) to pray for us but not to us.
There is nowhere in the Bible that it speaks at all about praying to saints
who are gone on from this life. In 1 Tim. 2/5 we read,

1 Timothy 2
Instructions on Worship
1I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and
thanksgiving
be made for everyone- 2
for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet
lives in
all godliness and holiness.
3
This is good, and pleases God our Savior,
4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus,

Jesus is the only one that the Bible authorizes us to pray to or through.
He is the only avenue we have to God. In Rom 8:26/27 it tells us, about
praying,

    26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we
ought
to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words
cannot
express.
27
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the
Spirit intercedes
for the saints in accordance with God's will.
MSo, God wants us to pray through Jesus and has given us His Spirit to
interceede for us because we don't always know just how to pray.

Hope this helps, Angel, and thanks for the question.

Ned
