Through my Christian barber, Sandy heard of a Christian drug rehab place
here in Denver called Victory Out Reach. It is actually a church with a
drug rehab ministry where the people come for free and live with others.
They also work with the diversion program people that Gretchen is already
in. The guy who runs it told Sandy today that if Gretchen would come in
tomorrow, they would take her and he personally would go with her to her
meeting with her diversionary case officer on March the 17th to speak in her
behalf. I asked Gretchen if she would go and she said she would. So
tomorrow, we are driving her to the place which is in north Denver and
probably 20 minutes from our home. He also said that they do not hold fast
to a 30 day rule of no communications; especially if the person has
children. He said, however, that everybody working for them is born again
and Spirit filled and when the addict has withdrawal symptoms or emotional
things going on, they get together and lay hands on them and pray them
through that time. He said they really work with each enrollee to see to
it, to the best of their ability, that they stay in the program. So,
Gretchen claims she will let her brother take her there tomorrow to start
again.

Phil.
