God has been dealing with me about being "in Love" with Him. When I have
been in love, how am I? He is constantly in my thoughts. He is the first
person I think about when my eyes open, last person in my thoughts when I
close my eyes. Everything I do through the day, I want to share with him. I
want him to be a part of every heartbeat of the day. I can't wait to get
through the day so I can spend time talking with him, or just being with
him. Needing to be close, working to know his heart and what makes him happy
and then doing whatever I can to make him smile.

God showed me me some things about when I was falling in love with someone.
He said ... "I feel that way about you, and I want you to feel that way
about Me". It really opened my eyes to what Him being my first love meant.

So, what does it mean to put the Lord first in your life? I've heard it
taught and preached all my life but what does it really mean? How do you
know when you have reached the point that He is first in your life? Is
there some Biblical measurement we can go by? What is the standard by which
we can say, I finally have put the Lord first in my life? Just curious.

Phil.
