It is public but not as public as this. In other words one can set yahoo up
so that only members can read list mail.

Well, the good thing is that nobody's going anywhere soon.  And if and when
we do, we'll all go there together.  Lots of things I don't like about yahoo
myself.  On the other hand, we would still be existing out here in cyber
space.  Besides that, the Lord has a plan, so I'm not worried.

Regarding public lists, I think, though I could be mistaken that yahoo is
public too.
