Hey, folks,

I'd like to add Just one thing which really supports what Phil is doing. I
personally speak to people evry week who have gone through long sessions,
year after year, with therapists (some Christian, some not Christian) and
they're not healed. Yes, some have learned to talk about their problems
quite freely, but most have not really laid them to rest. I try not to
belittle the work they do, because I know some really care for their clients
and those who are Christians want to do the best they can - and some succeed
I'm sure - but what I see tells the story of hurting people who, despite
everything, are still not finding they have a healthy, happy Christian life!
This should not be! No, no it shouldn't, but in many cases it is! Perhaps
one of the reasons for this is that in these cases people are asked to do
for themselves what they cannot and should not do ("works salvation" and all
that). Jesus is the healer, none other. Even Phil simply goes along for
the ride - and that's true, I know! When he has prayed with me, he has
never made suggestions as to what I should think or feel but simply asked
the Lord to show me the truth about . . . (this or that thing) which I have
needed to know.

God is good; God is right; God is able to do whatever He pleases and in
whatever way He chooses. I choose not to limit Him but to give Him all the
glory in anything I see He has done! That which He does is permanent! It
is wonderful and He is always full of surprises!
