Hi Everyone,
I want to thank you all so very much for your love and prayers. This 
means so very much to us.

We have some serious problems here.

First of all, Vernon is not ready to be discharged from the hospital. 
He can't eat much, and he is not passing gass at all.

I felt his belly today and he is really bloated. He looks like a 
balloon, and he told  me if I popped him with a pin he would be a 
deflated balloon. He's remaining in good spirits, but I can''t let 
him see me frustrated.

Secondly, he has a real dry throat and can't talk really well from 
the tube that was down his throat.

This is also causing problems with his eating, as he can't swallow 
hardly at all.

Thirdly, Medicare has changed the status from in-patient to 
out-patient in a bed. This could change what they pay for.

I'm really stressed and quite upset about all this and very anxious about this.

I need lots of those lovings and squeezings and I really need to talk.
