Just for today,
I won't  listen to criticism of the President,
Talk about what's rung with our country,
complain about the weather,
the economy,
The low standards in education,
The rise in divorce rates,I won't argue over who is right,
conservatives or liberals,
but I will Thank God I live in America,
Thank God for all those who served  this country in time of war enabling me
to be here today,
Count the blessings I have because I live here,
Whisper a prayer for those away in the armed forces
and their families left here at home,
I will thank God
for the founding fathers who started a land where freedom would reign,
Just for today,
I will remember all the good things about our country,
and I will say,
God bless America!
