If you are looking for a free audio Bible that is also easy to
understand and enjoyable to listen to, you might want to try out the
"Podbible" from

http://podbible.com/podcast

This is an audio Bible read by ordinary people that has been
published on the Internet as a Podcast of one chapter of the Bible
over the last several years.

this is the Mission Project of a Church in new Zealand that had all
its membership participate in volunteer reading the entire Bible. AS
a result, you have a variety of readers with diverse accents. This
makes this audio bible very enjoyable to listen to also.

The Bible translation this project was licensed to use is the
"Contemporary English Version" (CEV for short). This is an
easy-to-read contemporary English translation with a high 3rd grade
reading level. It is copyrighted by the American Bible Society that
licensed its use for the Bible Podcast project.

you can subscribe to the Podbible via podcast feed or you can
download the entire Bible from the above website.

While it is volunteers reading, the overall quality of this audio
Bible is pretty good and we find it quite enjoyable and rewarding
reading. Since most free audio Bibles are public domain older
translations that are harder to understand, we thought this might be
a refreshing change from this.

May God bless you in the reading and study of his Word!
