here is what I received when asking if I could play the bard books on a 
computer....
Sorry, there is no software for playing the NLS downloadable digital books. 
You'll need a new free digital player from your local talking book library. 
There are also at least 5 third party players that range in price between 
$325.00 and $500.00.
