Some good news:,

Many of you may know that apart from being totally blind - I am also a transplant recipient of kidney and pancreas.

I had my double transplant just over 15 years ago, however the kidney failed after 5 years.

Nevertheless;, God is good, because two years later in 1998, I received another kidney transplant.

Things have been going fairly well and my blood results have been extremely good.

In Spring this year though, I was admitted into hospital with extreme urgency.

The problem being, that my bladder had gone into permanent retention.

Obviously since then we had concerns as to whether the recent problem would have any effect on my kidney transplant and pancreas transplant function.

I am delighted to share today, that this week I had a transplant clinic appointment, where the doctor shared that my blood results were equivalent if not better than someone with two normal working kidney's.

My pancreas is also doing very, very well.

Praise be to God.

I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

David.
