If you wouldn't mind, I got a cold earlier this week, probably last weekend,
and it developed into a cough. This always, or almost always, crashes my
voice. It is very difficult to talk right now but it doesn't hurt. It is
just hard to talk. I had to cancel several prayer sessions this week as a
result of a weak voice and a hacking cough. Often these things take a few
days for my voice to recover. The first time this happened to me, I was in
my mid twenties and I preached four times in one day with a sore throat.
That night I lost my voice completely. It happened one other time, too.
Now I sound like a frog with laryngitis. Plus, as you well know, all that
coughing bit wears a body out. So, with a little bit of whining, I'm asking
for prayer.
Phil.
