I will also continue to pray for healing in your hand as well as for 
your ability to do the exercises with as little pain as possible.

And now for a laugh.  Time to share!  During the first year I was 
employed in Salem, while my husband was still working in Bend at 
Marrus Dental as a machinist; he cut his finger while using a milling 
machine.  As if it weren't bad enough, instead of allowing this to 
happen once, he did it twice.  He was lucky he didn't lose the 
finger.  It required several stitches, as the cut was very deep.  He 
probably was thinking of our daughter Marcy who had just had surgery, 
as she cut the tendons in her thumb the week before, as she worked at 
the mill in Bend; they left a guard off the machine she was using and 
she thought it had been fixed.

Now here's the funny part!  So I came home the following week end to 
find them fixing supper.  Our daughter Marcy was over helping her 
dad, and one was holding the can, while another was opening it with a 
can opener.  I just couldn't help it, it was so funny we were all 
laughing.  However, dinner did get done and was delicious!
