Karen,

Just because a balloon, or a dog, or whatever material things make us happy 
on earth doesn't imply that it will be there in Heaven; I agree with you 
there.  But maybe what we both are saying is that, once we get to Heaven, if 
those things are good, and would increase our enjoyment when we are in 
Heaven, then we'll have those things.  If those things aren't there, we 
won't miss them.
