Vinny,

I read the book from Martha Arney, but I don't remember what you would be
referring to, what Bill Merry did after his conversion that caused you to
question it. My dad was with him in Russia. If I remember right, they were
passing out bibles and christian literature and going to meetings. Here is
what Dad has to say:

Sharon, I had to read through the book again to try to find out why
anyone would question Bill Murray's conversion because of something he
done afterward. In there or when I was with him in Russia in '91 there
was nothing he done that would question his conversion. Rather he was
very dedicated to try to undo what his mother had done. He took groups
to Russia to hand out thousands of Bibles.
And now he has an organization near the Capitol, "Religious Freedom
Coalition", P.O. Box 77511, Washington D.C. 20013, and is very active
in contacting legislators in regard to legislation to be passed. He is
widely known and influential there and sends out monthly reports. I help
support him.
He had such a tumultous and unhappy bringing up, that he began to see
the terrible contrast between Christians and unbelievers, and when he
once had a terrible nightmare and then a dream and vision that caused him
to remember that the way to peace was to confess all his sins and
surrender to Jesus Christ.
He found a Bible and read Luke's Gospel. That completely turned him
arround, 'he was born again' and
has been very influential since. His book can be purchased in book
stores. Be sure to read from pg. 300 on.
   Dad
