Hi, all
My name is Qing Yu and I work at Faculty Technology Resource center as an
educational technology specialist in New Mexico Junior college, Hobbs, New
Mexico.
My job is to assist faculty in integrating technology into their online and
traditional courses… Actually, I’m the only person here in the FTR center
and it’s kind of isolated geographically and professionally. I’m always
happy to get to know people works in the same area.

I’m required to develop a workshop about the Accessibility and Universal
Design to our faculty. That’s why I’m here for the training. I hope I will
be able to finish five courses and get the certificate in Accessible
information technology. This time I have taken two courses. I enjoy what I’m
doing now.

I came from China five years ago. I got my master degree in educational
technology from The University of Northern Iowa and then started my job in
the college.My husband and me have a 7-year old daughter.
