This week I received a mailing from Enabling Devices, a company that
specializes in products for Special Children.  You can visit their web
site at:  http://www.enablingdevices.com for more information and to view
their offerings.  Their phone number is:  1.800.832.8697.  If you have
any interest in Special Children you may want to contact them at their
web site and ask to be placed on their future mailings.

One item that I thought might be of particular interest is a book,
"Assistive Technology Solutions."  This is advertised for IEP Teams but
could be of interest to any parent with a special needs child.  Their
write up says:  "This practical and innovative book focuses K-3
curriculum standards and provides assistive technology solutions and
sample IEP goals.  It covers a wide range of AT options and presents a
thorough review of current technologies and how they can help students
attain academic success."  The book is spiral bound and sells for $62.00.

They have a wide array of toys and computer accessing devices that might
be of interest.
