Hi Penny,

What version of Adobe Acrobat reader is being used? I have found that
stability improves when version 8 and above of Adobe Acrobat reader are
used.

Subject: Re: jaws & Word 2003

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions.

I know that the 512 MB RAM is a part of the issue. I'm afraid that computer
is on a three-year lease which does not expire until next year. But, in the
meantime I'll see if we can get some more memory for that machine as well as
a couple of other machines with the same software installed around campus.
These machines have jaws, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Kurzweil 3000, Kurzweil
1000, Zoom Text Xtra level 2, as well as all the standard software's
installed.

In the meantime I will go through all the other suggestions and see if I can
get any improvement. Student stress levels are running high so I would like
to alleviate that as much as I can.

Again, thanks for the suggestions!

Penny
