Hi,

I recently read the book "Scorched Earth," by William Thomas,
which involved the environmental devastation of American warfare
(etc) in Iraq. It discussed issues, an intervention, the reporting and
the documentation surrounding the events. Doesn't go into great
detail. You may only find 5-10 pages on the subject. But the
bibliography might help you more. It was published in 1995, I
believe.
