Hi,

My preschooler has developed a new symptom and we are uncertain if it is
Celiac related or another problem. We believe about 6 or more hours
after consuming an item with gluten he begins complaining of abdomen
pain and than begins to vomit intensely. He also continues to have foul
stools, even when there have not been issues of cross contamination.
His GI felt it wasn't celiac related. We have done an ultrasound of his
abdomen, a gastric emptying test, stool samples looking for bacteria and
parasites, and blood work. All of these tests were found to be
negative. His antigliadin levels are low. The doctor did say they
found a few white blood cells in his feces. The doctor wants to do an
endoscopy to see if we are missing something. Do these symptoms sound
familiar to anyone? I don't want my son to go through an invasive
procedure if it is not needed. Thank you for your help and support.

Heather
