Like all of you fellow Celiacs, I was angered to read about Lynne
Truss's idiotic remarks in her book "Talk to the Hand," so I did a
Google search on her to see what I could find. I discovered a
wonderful article by one of my favorite writers Louis Menand (book
critic at The New Yorker magazine and professor at Harvard
University) in which he shows how little Truss knows about what she
writes. Menand's essay is entitled "Bad Comma: Lynne Truss's strange
grammar" (New Yorker, issue 2004-06-08) and can be found at this web
page:

Obviously Truss is not to be trusted in writing.
