Thank you to those that responded about Springfield, Missouri.
Here is the info I received for anyone else who is interested.

There are many places to get GF items at restaurants and groceries in
Springfield. There is a HyVee that carries GF pizza (that they make) and
other GF grocery
items.
The best GF pizza in my opinion is at Bud & Walt's on Campbell (same road
as
Bass Pro) only it is a bit further south in Nixa. It is yummy!
The Incredible Pizza place has GF pizza also on Campbell. It is like a
Chucky Cheese.
There is a place called Cravin Pizza on Sunshine St, but I know nothing
except that they offer gluten free pizza. Also Godfathers in Nixa and I
think a place called
Arri's Pizza on Republic Road.

Right next to Outback on Glenstone, is Red Robin and Chick-fil-a if you
want
something like that. There is also a Carlos O'Kelley's on Campbell that has
a GF menu.

There is a HuHot Mongolian Grill at the Battlefield Mall and a Vietnamese
place called Bambu on Battlefield Road.

I should have told you that there are several health food stores in
Springfield.....Mama Jeans has two locations -- one on Campbell just north
of Sunshine and one on Republic
Road, Akins is on Battlefield Road just west of the mall, and Spring Valley
is on Glenstone
just north of Sunshine.
 --------
The only restaurant I have eaten at is The Pasta House on 41095 S. National
(417-883-5678)- and it was very good. There also is Mama Jeans Natural
Market at 1727 S. Campbell Ave (417-831-5229) and also at other locations on
1110 Republic St and 3530 E. Sunshine (just opened). I don't live in
Springfield but drive there to go to Mama Jeans to shop for gluten free
products - they also serve food at the Campbell and Republic locations -
don't know about the new Sunshine location. You can google Mama Jeans and
find out more info.
