I just received a wedding invitation from a cousin. The wedding is being held at Disneyworld.

I'm just sharing with you that on the rsvp card, there is a line to fill in any dietary requirements. This is the first time I saw that on an invitation. Perhaps, it's because Disney makes it available. But it does show, it's possible, and I think it's terrific.

Usually, when I'm invited to an affair, I have to wangle the hostess into telling me the phone number and contact person for the affair, or I just call the location, if it's a hotel, and I have to discuss gluten-free with the chef or coordinator, and make sure the hostess knows to specify that in their order. It really isn't a problem, but it sure is nice to have it spelled out up front!

Hurray for progress!

Lin
