Thank you to everyone who replied about their favourite soy sauce. Very
helpful I am taking my list shopping tomorrow to see what I can find.

Tamari (wheat-free) from Pureharvest. Ingredients: Whole soybeans,
water, sea salt.

All Natural BRAGG Liquid Aminos (terrible name but I'm told it is great)
Ingredients: Pure soybeans and purified water. "Contains no
preservatives, colouring agents, alcohol, additives, or chemicals."
Kosher Certified and not fermented.

SAN-J was the most mentioned, so here they all are.
SAN-J Tamari organic gluten-free soy sauce (not sure if it is same as
below)

SAN-J reduced sodium tamari - it's organic wheat-free soy sauce

LaChoy: Stir Fry Mandarin. CSA Products Listing of '97: Eden
LaChoy Soy Sauce (Warning: always check the label because some of the
older bootles may have wheat)
LaChoy "lite" soy sauce
Ingredients: water,hydrolyzed soy protein, corn syrup,
salt, caramel color, lactic acid, potassium sorbate [preservative.]
(Warning: this has not been checked passed the ingredient list.)

Angostura soy sauce is GF (not recommended for taste).

Chun King soy sauce is GF (not recommended for taste).

CSA Products Listing of '97: Eden:
Wheat free tamari - domestic and imported. Warning: some may contain
wheat so check labels carefully.

Fountain Soy Sauce - made from rice
Ingredients: hydrolysed soyabean and maize proteins, colour (caramel),
salt, water added. Note: company said there is no wheat in it but unsure
about the colouring.

Other Gltuen-free sauces

Lea & Perrins, 201-791-1600, has these gluten-free products:  Original
Worcerstershire Sauce, White Wine Worcestershire Sauce (contains whey), Steak
Sauce (sweet 'N Spicy, Garlic Peppercorn & HP), Barbecue Sauce (Original &
Bold & Spicy), as of 6/98

Angostura said their Bitters, Worcestershire, and Teriyaki Sauce are
gluten-free.  Their soy does contain .05% gluten (did not indicate from what
source).

Alternatively look through Japanese markets.

Please feel free to correct any mistakes.
