Danna Korn's new book, Kids With Celiac Disease, A
Family Guide to Raising Happy, Healthy, Gluten-Free
Children, just arrived. This is a must-read for
parents of celiac kids. Danna has covered all aspects
of the disease and has presented the information in an
easy-to-read style.

She discusses the emotions we go through as parents,
and her son wrote a section about what it's like to be
a kid with celiac disease. Her positive attitude
toward celiac disease is reflected in the book, and
there are lots of pictures of happy celiac kids.

In addition to explaining celiac disease, Danna talks
about traveling, restaurants, birthdays, special
occasions, school, camp, dating, and how to deal with
family and friends. There is a special section on
junk food.

My daughter was diagnosed 3 years ago, so I'm not a
beginner, but I think anyone with a celiac child can
benefit from reading Danna's book.
