Oakland, Santa Cruz and Stanford, California Meeting Notices

Oakland Meeting:
We are pleased to announce a visit from Elaine Monarch, Founder and head of
the Celiac Disease Foundation in Los Angeles. The energetic Elaine Monarch
is a frequent speaker at meetings around the country on celiac disease.
She's organized an enormous local support group for the greater
Los Angeles area and a major national support groups around the country for
celiac and DH. The CDF provides patient information, counsels physicians
and raises funds for research on celiac disease as well. Everyone is
invited. We have scheduled this later than usual so those traveling from
the Peninsula and Santa Cruz can attend. We'll have food raffles, and
Elaine is bringing goodies to share. Plus our usual delicious pot luck brunch.

This meeting is on Saturday, June 10 at 12 noon in at 1950 Franklin St,
Oakland. This is the Kaiser Permanente Corporate headquarters, not the
hospital. The location is between 19 and 20th Streets one block from
Broadway in downtown Oakland. There are parking lots across the street and
around the corner. Bring a brunch item to share and all your questions for
Elaine.

The next meeting of the Oakland Group will be in September. Watch for your
notice in late August... That is unless someone wants to organize a summer
event.
