Hello from the Big E -

I found a new place to eat today! At the corner of the Mallory building (near gate 9), behind the International building, is a "Pot Roast" eatery/trailer. They have a Pot Roast Sundae, which is a nest of mashed potatoes and a layer of corn, topped with - if you want a GF guarantee - London Broil. The pot roast is marinated in juices of unknown origin, so ask for London Broil instead of pot roast. It reminded me of Shepherds Pie; taste is excellent!

Billies baked potatoes are, as always, a steady, reliable standby. I have had good luck with the Butcher Boys at the "inside" end of the Better Living building, near the stage. The giant turkey legs are usually reliable, but this year are unbelievably salty. All soft serve ice cream is Guida's and GF without the cone, but ask the brand to be sure. We bought some pudding from a pudding trailer that was gluten free but also taste and texture free; none of us liked it, none of us finished it.

We bought some amazing/ delicious dehydrated soup mixes in the International building; Derry Farm or similar name. The label plainly says Gluten Free.

Kathy
