Several wanted to know what the 2005 Dining List was? It is the 2005 Gluten Free Restaurant Guide. Go to www.goodhealthpublishing.com to view sample pages and order.

Several got no response from Olive Garden when they tried to contact them.

Several refuse to eat there because they received unfriendly replies or because of concerns over cross contamination (ie, two said brocolli is blanched in the pasta water).

One stated that the 2005 editions says the following items are GF:

Salads
Garden Salad - order without croutons
Ceasar Salad - order without croutons

Entrees
Tuscan T-bone
Pork Filettino
Salmon Piccata

It does not mention salad dressings

Another contacted Olive Garden and was told that their Garden Salad and Ceasar Salads without croutons were GF. Also, their Tuscan T-Bone brushed with Italian Herbs and served with seasoned broccoli, Pork Filettino marinated in extra-virgin olive oil and rosemary and served with seasoned broccoli, Salmon Picatta in extra virgin olive oil and rosemary and served with seasoned broccoli were GF. Cautioned about broccoli possibly being blanced in pasta water. Recommended that you carefully question the manager and/or server before attempting to eat anything. In fact, they say that their ingredients do sometimes change and that you should not rely on this list solely for your menu choices. Their corporate number is 1-800-331-2729.

Another stated they contacted their local olive garden and the ones in chicago and was told that the chicken marsala is GF - it is coated in corn starch before being pan fried. The mushroom sauce that accompanies it is made with marsal wine, corn starch, and mushrooms. The salad minus the croutons is gf and so is the dressing.

Another sent a copy of a letter from Olive Garden Guest Relations which lists the same items GF as listed in the 2005 Dining List above. Olive Garden states that they "make no guarantees regarding the gluten content of any of these items" and that "variations in the ingredient profile of a particlar menu item may occur from time to time."
