Hey all,

I was diagnosed this month, and my mother immediately scheduled testing
herself. She ended up with a PA or a NP who had read teh blurb in the
manual and they did an IGA (not sure which) and an IGD(same) test. One
was positive one negative. She gave him a slew of information. He told
her to go on the diet. She argued with him and got a referral to a
Gastroenterologist. The information she gave him Including teh five
required tests and all that.

1) She needs a gastroenterologist with actual experience with the
disease. She lives in Warren, PA near Jamestown NY and Erie, PA can
anyone here recommend a doctor? Is there a service for looking up
doctors?

2) She needs a full blood test. Her PA/NP wants to do the SAME tests
over testing, i guess, for false positive or false negative. Plus i
guess her insurance company stepped in and offered to pay for the
re-test. It's just insane. Does anyone handle finding a knowlegeable GP
type doctor and where in her area to go get tests?
