I just got a call from IN-N-OUT Burger customer service concerning the
gf status of their foods.  Good news!  All menu items EXCEPT their buns
and spread/special sauce are GF.  The buns definitely contain gluten;
they can not guarantee that the spread/special sauce does not contain
gluten.

You can request to have your burger served Protein Style:  "Your
favorite burger wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce, instead of a bun."
