We are finally having some cool weather here in San Antonio, with the leaves
on the Mexican Buckeyes and Pomegranate trees turning golden and red. It
looks really pretty out under the tree house where these golden leaves are.
The chickens have just about finished off the pumpkin patch, and we are all
looking forward to the holiday season. The winter garden has been fenced
in, even on top, so the peacocks can't make a salad bar out of it.

There is a wedding planned here at Chicken Paradise
(www.chickenparadise.com) later this month, with a celiac groom, who is
looking forward to being able to dine without any problems, thanks to local
celiac catering by Chef Marissa. (www.chefmarissa.com) .

This reminds me of one of the services that you automatically get when you
stay at Chicken Paradise. We are your local personal Celiac Concierge
before, during and after your visit. We have made all kinds of arrangements
for people, celiac or not, who need help finding meals with various and
multiple dietary restrictions. Some visitors want suggestions about what to
order at the numerous GF friendly restaurants in San Antonio, whereas others
might want to tour my gf kitchen, pantry and coffin-size freezer.

We have noticed that our phones are not ringing much in the last few weeks,
and realize that this economy has everyone holding their breath and keeping
their wallets a little deeper in their pockets. Because we understand this,
we have decided not to increase our prices for 2009. We have been charging
the same amount since we started in 2005, and promise to keep our low
prices through the coming year. We hope you will take advantage of this and
be thinking about your gluten free vacation plans for Spring Break and the
rest of the year.

Have a very Merry Holiday season, and may we all have a more prosperous New
Year! Enjoy being with your loved ones.
